Last updated: 17 April 2025
1. Scope of Hosting
Services may include provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Digital Ocean), setting up application servers, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis), automated scripts, cron jobs, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
2. Hosting Model
Infrastructure may be hosted on Keferboeck Ltd. accounts or the client’s own accounts. This will be defined in the service agreement. Clients remain responsible for their own usage costs if infrastructure is hosted on their behalf.
3. Uptime & Availability
Keferboeck Ltd. will use reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but does not guarantee specific availability unless a Service Level Agreement (SLA) is explicitly signed.
4. Data Backup & Recovery
Basic backup policies may be included, but full disaster recovery plans are optional add-ons. Clients are advised to maintain their own offsite backups unless a specific arrangement is made.
5. Security Responsibilities
Keferboeck Ltd. follows standard best practices for hosting security but is not liable for zero-day exploits, client negligence, or compromised credentials. Access control is a shared responsibility.
6. Termination & Migration
Upon termination of hosting services, clients are responsible for transferring infrastructure to a new provider within 14 days. After this period, data may be permanently deleted.
7. Maintenance & Downtime
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. Emergency maintenance may be carried out without notice to protect system integrity.
8. Liability
Keferboeck Ltd. is not liable for service outages caused by upstream providers (e.g. AWS, Digital Ocean), DDoS attacks, or force majeure events. Total liability is limited to the last 3 months of hosting fees paid.
9. Confidentiality & Access Logs
All server access and logs are considered confidential. Keferboeck Ltd. may retain logs for monitoring and debugging purposes but will not share them unless legally obligated.
